I am an artist jeweller with a degree in Design. I specialise in creating hand-
All of my work is individually made using traditional techniques in my home studio in Liverpool, UK. I mainly work in silver, copper and aluminium, allowing the hand of the maker to be seen in each piece.
I believe in creating jewellery that gives the wearer a sense of individuality. Each piece I create is made by hand, using a hand drill and jewellers piercing saw. No two pieces are ever exactly the same, allowing the wearer the knowledge that their jewellery is totally unique.
I have always loved art, craft and creativity and from a young age I was never without a sketchbook in my hand. This love of creating led to my gaining a degree in design at Liverpool Hope University. Here I experienced a number of craft disciplines; textiles, ceramics, woodwork, but specialised in silversmithing and metalwork with which I completely fell in love!
I take inspiration for my work from my immediate surroundings, finding glimpses of nature within a city environment. Creating pieces inspired by the natural world alongside the geometric forms of the cityscape.
